Hi Everyone:
A quick post to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. I know many of you are doing a scaled-down Thanksgiving this year or maybe not really celebrating at all. It’s been a strange year and I am sure the rest of the holiday season won’t be “normal” in any sense of the word. I hope you are able to take today and the next few days to rest and relax with your friends and/or family.
A few Thanksigiving edition week/weekend reads that I’ve enjoyed recently:
- A Holocaust Survivor Lifts Neighbors in Dark Times (New York Times)
- How Much is $20 a Month Worth? (A Wealth of Common Sense)
- Tony Xu, the steady hand steering DoorDash’s delivery empire (FT)
- Great Value Wines: 2008 Vintage Champagnes under $100 (James Suckling)
On the personal front, we’re planning to pick out our Christmas Tree this weekend, I am trying to talk Cameron into getting a “Scraggle Tree” this year. We’ll see how that goes.
Be well and stay safe.
Tom
