Hi Everyone:
I apologize for the lack of posts as of late. I’ve had a bit of writer’s block on the website front. I’m still kicking around several ideas on the best way to juice up the posts and content in general. The goal is for me to start more of a monthly update that contains several items, including the articles that I previously shared with you in the Weekend Reads posts. I also plan to include personal updates/pictures while also sticking with the main focus of the blog: finance, investments, and business.
Market Commentary
I’ve included a 3rd quarter market commentary that we recently shared with our clients. At my firm, we do “quarterly reviews” with clients throughout the year. This gives us a chance to talk about what happened during the past quarter, any changes needed to their portfolio/investments, and cover their financial plan. It’s also a good time for a general catch up and to hear about what’s going on in their lives. Additionally, a big part of what we do with clients is education on the markets and economy. We have found most clients really enjoy learning about these topics. I hope you find this commentary helpful.
Election Update
We recently sent an email to our clients with updated information on the upcoming election (less than one week away!). I previously posted about the topic here and have attached a copy of the correspondence if you would like to read.
Family
It’s hard to believe 2020 is almost over and even harder to believe Gaines is 16 months old. We plan to do a socially distanced Halloween celebration on Saturday with our neighborhood. In November, Cameron and I are planning a much-needed weekend away and my parents will keep Gaines. This will then take us into the holiday season. I’ve included a few recent pictures of Gaines at the bottom of this post.
