My grandmother, Lucile MacLennan, was recently profiled in this article titled “At 99, Still Sowing Seeds for Eternity” for Decision Magazine. Nini as we (and some of her friends) call her will turn 100 next month. When people ask what keeps her going at 99, she’ll often answer “God and Gardening”.
My whole family is planning on heading to Charleston in July to help her celebrate becoming a centenarian. Below is a picture I took of her and Gaines last year.
